About the firm
Twelve years of quotes kept and dates met
Meridian Chambers opened in 2014 with one rule taped above the printer: no work starts before the client has a fee in writing.
Our story
Founded by two lawyers who read the bills clients received
Adrian Khoo and Farhana Musa spent a decade at a large Kuala Lumpur practice. The work was good; the way clients discovered its cost was not. Too often the true price of a matter arrived with the final bill.
So in 2014 they leased half a floor of Menara Cendana and opened a firm where the quote comes first. Twelve years on, the rule above the printer has not moved, and most new clients arrive referred by someone whose transfer completed on the day the firm said it would.

The people on your file
Three lawyers who carry their own files, with Grace Tan at the front desk keeping every diary and quote moving.
Adrian Khoo
Managing partner, conveyancing
Has completed more than a thousand transfers since 2008 and still reads every sale and purchase agreement line by line. Keeps the completion-date record on a whiteboard behind his desk.
Farhana Musa
Partner, corporate and commercial
Drafts the shareholders' and employment agreements and explains every clause before signing. Left a large practice to build one where clients read what they sign.
Priya Shanmugam
Senior associate, property and estates
Handles tenancies, wills and refinancing files, and writes most of the Friday progress notes clients mention when they refer us.
