The Fringe Room is a small cut and colour studio on Jalan Bangsar Ria. Every appointment starts with a proper consultation and ends with hair you can manage on a Tuesday morning.
The studio
A slow diary and very sharp scissors
We keep the diary light on purpose. Your stylist books forty five minutes for a cut and about two hours for colour, and never juggles you with another client while your toner sits.
That slower pace is the whole point. It leaves room to talk about how you actually wear your hair, week to week, before anyone picks up a pair of scissors.
What we do, in three lines
The full menu lives on the price list page. Almost everything we do falls under one of these three.
Cuts
Precision cuts built around your growth pattern and how much styling you honestly do at home. Fringe trims between visits are RM 25 and take ten minutes.
Colour
Full colour, balayage and gloss, mixed for how colour actually lifts on Asian hair. Patch tests happen two days before your appointment, every time.
Treatments
Bond repair and deep conditioning for hair that has been through a few colour seasons. Booked alone or added to any cut while your tea is still hot.
From the chairs
No models. Shot in the studio on ordinary working days, with permission.
I have worn the same bob for six years because nobody else cuts it like this. I book my next appointment before I leave the chair.
