CoolFlow Aircond Service

Services and rates

What we do and what it costs

Every rate below is confirmed as a firm quote on WhatsApp before the visit. No inspection fees hidden in the price, no add-ons invented on site.

The four jobs we do most

Most bookings fall into one of these four. If your problem does not fit neatly, send a photo on WhatsApp and we will point you the right way.

  • Routine servicing

Filters, blower and coil surfaces cleaned and the drain checked, with a cooling reading taken before and after so you can see the difference. Most homes put their daily-use units on a three to four month cycle; we send a reminder when the next round is due.

  • Chemical wash and overhaul

When a unit drips water, smells musty or blows weak air even after servicing, the buildup is deep in the fins. A chemical wash strips the indoor unit and dissolves it; the full overhaul adds fan barrel removal and drain pipe flushing for the worst cases.

  • Gas top-up, done honestly

Low gas means a leak, so we check for one first rather than topping up blind. If gas is genuinely the fix, you see the pressure readings before and after and the exact amount added on the invoice. If the real problem is a dirty coil, we quote the wash instead.

  • Installation and relocation

New split units installed with the lines vacuumed to spec and pressure tested before handover, because shortcuts at installation become leak calls a year later. Renovating or moving? We relocate existing units, re-gas them properly and test them cold.

Servicing questions, answered straight

How often should I service my aircond?

Every three to four months for bedrooms and living rooms used daily, and every six months for lightly used rooms. Shops and cafes running units all day should stay on a three-month cycle. We send a reminder when your units are due, and you decide.

What is the difference between a routine service and a chemical wash?

A routine service cleans filters, blower and coil surfaces and checks cooling. A chemical wash strips the indoor unit and dissolves the buildup deep in the fins. If your unit drips water, smells musty or blows weak air even after servicing, it usually needs the chemical wash.

My aircond is not cold. Do I need a gas top-up?

Not necessarily, and this is the most common misdiagnosis we see. Weak cooling is caused by a dirty coil more often than by low gas. We check cooling performance and inspect the coil first, and we only recommend gas after a leak check confirms it. Pressure readings are shown to you before and after.

Which brands do you service?

All major split-unit brands sold in Malaysia, including Daikin, Panasonic, Acson, Midea, York, Hisense and Sharp. We service ceiling cassette units for most brands too; ducted systems are quoted after a site visit.

Is there a warranty on the work?

Repairs and installations carry a 90-day workmanship warranty, stated in writing on your invoice. If the same fault returns within that window, we come back and put it right at no charge. Routine servicing and chemical wash carry a 14-day workmanship guarantee.

Do you work on weekends?

Saturdays from 9am to 2pm, and those slots go first, so book early in the week. We are closed on Sundays and public holidays, with exceptions for genuine emergencies at shops and cafes we service regularly.
