Stillframe Studio is a two person photography practice working from a converted shoplot in Kuala Lumpur since 2021.
Our story
Two photographers and one opinion about light
Stillframe began in 2021 when Han and Alia left a large production house to shoot the way they preferred: fewer jobs, slower sets, and colour handled properly from capture to export.
Five years on, the studio photographs packaging, campaigns and lookbooks for brands across the Klang Valley, from single product skincare labels to homeware catalogues that run past a hundred pieces.
We still work the same way. Test frames before the full set, clients welcome behind the monitor, and nothing retouched past the point of honesty.
How we work
Four steps from brief to delivery
The same quiet sequence for every job, whether it is six packshots or a full campaign.
The brief
You tell us the product, the deadline and where the images will live. We reply with a fixed quote and a shot list, so the price is settled before the date is.
Test frames
Before the full set we shoot and share test frames of one or two products. Light and angles are agreed while changes still cost nothing.
The shoot
Shoot day runs to the approved list. Join us behind the monitor or review frames remotely; either way, nothing new is invented without your yes.
Delivery
Selects arrive within five working days, colour-corrected and named to your catalogue codes, with web and print versions of every image.
