Our story
A workshop that runs like a lab
TorqueLab opened in 2019 on one rule: never ask an owner to approve a repair they cannot see. Everything else grew from there.
Why we measure first
Nine years of watching quotes nobody could question
Farid spent nine years as a technician in a franchise service centre. The work was good, but the counter was a wall: service advisors read quotes off a screen to owners who had no way to judge what was real and what was padding.
TorqueLab is his answer. Two lifts and a scan tool in 2019, and a rule that still decides every job: the diagnosis comes with photos of the actual part, and the old part goes home in your boot after the repair.
The name is the method. A lab measures before it concludes. Seven people now work across four bays, and every car that rolls in gets a photo file that follows it for life, so the next visit starts from evidence, not memory.

The standards on every job card
Four rules, printed on every job card and checked before handover.
No photo, no approval
Every quote arrives with pictures of the worn part and the readings behind it. If we cannot show you the problem, we do not ask you to pay for fixing it.
Old parts go home with you
Whatever we replace ends up in your boot, labelled. It keeps us honest, and it gives you proof of the work if you ever sell the car.
One technician owns your car
The person who diagnosed your car does or supervises the repair and hands it back to you. Nothing gets lost between bays.
Prices in writing before work
The quote you approve on WhatsApp is the bill you pay, and anything discovered mid-job comes back to you as a photo and a choice.
Inside the workshop
Scan tools, torque wrenches and four bays that stay busy from nine to seven.
Bring your car somewhere that shows its work
Book a diagnosis or send us the symptom on WhatsApp first. Either way, you see the evidence before you spend a ringgit.
